About Shongweni Farmers Market - Natal

A meeting place for people who love to socialise while shopping for their weekly special treats and meeting friends for a great breakfast.

The Farmers Market offers a great selection of vegetables, cheese, hormone free meat, free range chicken, duck and eggs, bread, olive oils and so much more. The variety of food and farm produce ranges from organic to perm culture.

In the spirit of most successful Markets the crafter section has also grown over the years and now covers a huge range of diverse items which are bound to satisfy your creative and practical requirements.

Our Christmas Night Market will be held on Thursday the 16th December, 10am till late.

The Market won the RMB Eat in award for outstanding outlet for the eastern region in 2007.

Recently on the 26th July 2009 another prestigious award was bestowed on the market, this time a Gold Award for the markets participation in the Good Food & Wine Show at the ICC in Durban.
